Reflections 2023
Thank you to all the participants in the PTSA Reflections contest this year. Shoreline PTA Council had the Reflections reception on January 11, 2023. The event was well attended and over 100 works were displayed. Shorecrest had 17 entries this year. Congratulations to all who participated!
General Membership Meeting
and Driver’s Ed Forum
The February Shorecrest PTSA meeting is a General Membership Meeting and Driver’s Ed Forum. You do not need to be a PTSA member to join the Zoom meeting to hear about what is happening in PTSA , then get your questions answered about Driver’s Ed and getting a driver’s license in Washington State during the Forum.
The General Membership Meeting starts at 7:30PM on Zoom, and the Driver’s Ed Forum follows at 8:00PM, also on Zoom. More information along with the Zoom link will be sent out closer to the meeting date. Put February 28 on your calendar now for this important meeting.

Cupcakes for Students and Staff
Cupcakes for everyone on Valentine’s Day! PTSA has a tradition of giving EVERYONE at Shorecrest a cupcake on Valentine’s Day, but we need your help.
Please help us spread the love by signing up to bring cupcakes (homemade or store-bought) and/or to help hand them out. Cupcakes can be home-made or store-bought, and can be dropped off at the Shorecrest office on either February 13th or the morning of February 14th. Thank you!

Staff Appreciation
The Harvest-themed Potluck in November was a great success, thank you for providing food and volunteering.
In December, a candle was given to each staff member. The card said “Thank you for lighting the way for Shorecrest students. May your Winter Break be merry and bright!”
January’s staff appreciation was grab-n-go packaged snacks and drinks in the staff workroom for the Staff Work Day on Monday, January 30th. Thank you to all who donated for this treat for the Shorecrest staff!
Keep an eye out for more opportunities to show the staff how much they are appreciated!
Nominating Committee Members Needed
