A special welcome to all of our new families!  In order to meet you before the year begins, we would like to invite you to attend our New Student Back to School BBQ & Kick-Off on Thursday, August 28, 5:30-7:30 pm.

We will begin at 5:30 PM in the Commons with a PTSA-sponsored BBQ  as well as an Activity Fair featuring booths of our student groups, clubs and teams. We hope our new students browse the opportunities to get involved at Shorecrest and have questions answered by students.  Many of our teachers, counselors, coaches, activity advisors, and administrators will be available to meet you too.  You will also have a chance to find answers to questions you may have regarding our school’s academic program, locate classrooms, and tour the school (6:00 – 6:45 PM, tours begin in the front foyer).  For the 9th Grade AVID students and parents, there will be a informational meeting from 6:30 – 7:00 PM in room M210. Then at 7:00 PM we will enjoy an entertaining program featuring Shorecrest’s outstanding performing groups in our fabulous gym.

We  hope  all new  students and  parents will be  able  to  join  us for  this  fun  evening. It’s our special way of greeting all our new Scots!
