WELCOME to the 2011/12 school year at Shorecrest High School!! This is going to be our best year ever and our commitment is bold. Despite the funding cuts at national, state and district levels, we are determined to restore what has been lost and take ourselves above and beyond. Let us repeat that: We are determined to restore what has been lost and take ourselves above and beyond. The time is now! We know that the Shorecrest community has that same vision.

The PTSA is involved with multiple aspects of the school, local community and district, with the primary goal of empowering the parents, teachers and students of Shorecrest High School. We know that with the changing times it is essential to contemporize and keep updated in all aspects of alliance, communication and student encouragement. With your involvement and support, we can achieve anything. The PTSA is about community and serving others. The possibilities are endless when we work together as a TEAM!

ALL of this is made possible not only through Membership fees, but also by generous donations to our fundraisers; Pass the Hat, on-line Innisbrook Wrap, Christmas Tree sales, Petite Auction and more.  The contributions come from you, the community at large, and the amazing army of volunteers that graciously give of their time. Even one hour makes a difference when everyone gets involved. Did you know that anyone can join the PTSA? With every new member, our voice more clearly resonates in Olympia, where critical decisions are made about our budget and school requirements. We encourage you to join our membership and invite your family members, friends and neighbors. One of our major goals this year is to reach outside of the community, with corporate donations, grants and fund raising events; in short, ways to lighten our already substantial monetary load.

We are committed and determined: this year is going to be FUN!! We want you to be part of it too! We invite you with a committed HOORAH! to join our PTSA TEAM!!
